Are any of you attending the Digital Health Communication Extravaganza (DCHX) this February?
The event was created by Dr. Jay M. Bernhardt who founded the CDC's National Conference on Health Communication, Marketing and Media a little over five years ago. He describes DCHX as "different from many other conferences you may attend. It is for advanced users of information and communication technologies, or those who want to become advanced users. All presentations will be held in general, plenary sessions with ample time for Q&A and networking. We will address multiple digital platforms (including, but not limited to, mobile) and sectors (health promotion, public health, healthcare, telehealth, communication and information technology)."

Subject: [Living the Path Q&A Center] Event: Digital Health Communication Extravaganza - February 15-17, 2012
My program, Idaho Tobacco Prevention and Control, has had its travel budget slashed to attending one conference only next year - the National Conference on Tobacco or Health. I
had planned on trying to attend at least one social media marketing conference in 2012. It looks like I'll have to continue learning on my own.

Jean:
I spoke with the co-char of the event last week. He confirmed that learning materials will be available after the event. We (the Path of the Blue Eye Project) are supporting this new event via a variety of activities, so stay tuned for more info coming during the next few weeks.
If you have any other questions about the event, please let me know.

Jean:
Thanks for your response. I"m sorry that your travel budget has been cut this year. I'm in communication with Jay about this event and I'll ask him if they will make posters, presentations and other content from the event available to the public. I'll report back on what he says.
Also, we have a series of blog posts and case studies coming after the holiday re: our health marketing innovation event, unNiched(micro). Look for news about this content in our regular community newsletter.
Best,
Fard
